Sub Contract Opportunities
Working through sub-contractors, Mainstream Renewable Energy and PowerChina Maanda JV aim to use this solar project to create economic development opportunities for businesses located within the Ngwathe Local Municipality. Accordingly, a high-level assessment was conducted to identify the goods and services to be sourced from Ngwathe Local Municipality.

- Small concrete works like culvert headwalls, concrete drains, general small concrete works.
- General construction works like gabions, culverts, cattle grid installation, building of wheel washing facilities

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Proof of company registration
• Proof of ownership
• ID documents of directors/shareholders
• B-BBEE certificate/affidavit
• Tax clearance certificate
• Proof of bank account
• Proof of VAT registration, where necessary
• Valid UIF registration, where necessary
QUALIFICATION CRITERIAS
Preference will be given to EME’s and QSE’s that:
– have minimum black ownership level of 51%
– have minimum black women ownership level of 30%
– are located within the Ngwathe Local Municipality area
